It's in district 14 Tanjong Rhu HDB estate, along Mountbatten Road, exactly at the fringe of the Central Business District - with very speedy express bus or MRT commute along Nicoll Highway to Marina Bay Finance Ctr & e IR, Raffles Place, Shenton Way &Tanjong Pagar (10 minutes), 15-mins to Orchard Road, & within 30-mins to Chinatown, Vivo City & Harbour Front via the ECP, Clementi, S'pore Expo, East Coast Park, Ikea at Alexandra, Dover and Holland Village.. in fact, almost anywhere important or interesting in Singapore.. often just by riding one bus..
The Circle Line Mountbatten MRT station is just across the river and that takes you directly to Marina Bay Sands IR & the Casino at one end and up north to Bishan and Harbourfront at the other end. The EW Line crosses this line and it takes you anywhere from Jurong to the Airport.
Lots of food outlets and sporting facilities are within walking distance away.. Kallang Park is also across the river as well as KFC, MacDonald's, a famous Seafood restaurant, and across Mountbatten road, there's a popular food centre where one can get spoilt for choice with lots of inexpensive local delights to choose from.. For sporting activities, there're facilities like Tennis and Squash courts, the stadium and a swimming pool close by and for entertainment, there's Kallang Theatre, East Coast Beach, Bugis, Boat & Clark Quay & e laidback East Coast Road & beach..all within minutes' reach..
The estate is little, comprising of less than 15 blocks which is unusual in Singapore.
