Looking to rent out a guest room in my two-bedroom apartment - for short-term rental (one month minimum to six months max), preferably to exchange students or students on internship. Bathroom is just outside of room and is for your private use (not shared). (NOTE: To ensure genuineness of enquirers, only members with photos in their profiles will be considered and replied to.)
NO SMOKING, no pets. Cooking ok. The condominium has full facilities which you can use - swimming pool, gym, tennis courts. It's close to nature parks (eg. Bukit Timah Hill, Bukit Batok Nature Park and Dairy Farm Nature Park). For laundry, you can use my washing machine (no dryer, so clothes to be hung up to dry).
It's walking distance to Bukit Panjang Plaza (food court, shops and grocery), Junction 10 (food court, shops, grocery), Bukit Panjang bus terminal (just across the street from condo's entrance), other bus stops on Upper Bukit Timah Road, Bukit Panjang LRT Station (which is linked to Choa Chu Kang MRT Station), as well as 24-hour eateries.
There's direct bus (700 or 190) to Orchard Road (in around 30min), not too far from National University of Singapore (either by direct bus 963, or by taking 184 or 75 and transferring to 151 - around 35min). Bus 184 takes around 30min to get to Clementi MRT. For Nanyang Technological University, the bus 180 brings you to Boon Lay in around 35min, for transfer to a shuttle bus to NTU. For Bugis, the bus 960 takes around 40min. All travel times are based on normal traffic conditions.
You'll enjoy bonuses like free movies (because I'm a movie critic for a newspaper), maybe gigs (if I get extra tix as a reviewer)... and generally a laid-back time with someone who's more of a friendly host than a landlord.
